PEX, or cross-linked polyethylene, is a modern piping alternative for water systems within buildings. It is suitable for plumbing, hot-water distribution, air-conditioning systems, and radiant heating and cooling applications, including floor and ceiling systems.

Reduced Heat Transfer
PEX has lower thermal conductivity than metal piping, helping reduce heat transfer and heat loss in hot-water systems. Insulation requirements should be determined according to the operating conditions and project specifications.
